Re: do I need a car? Unless you intend to spend all of your time in and around the hotel, I would highly recommend renting a car when visiting Marco – there is a lot to see which isn’t readily within walking distance. Taxi’s are of course available, but day to day this wouldn’t be that convenient (nor cheap).
